ANOTHER DELICATE THING HE'S MADE
Darren Hayes is premiering another track from his upcoming album 'This Delicate Thing We've Made' titled 'Step Into The Light' and you can listen to the track in full here.
What can I say - it's very good. On first listen it's even better than 'Who Would Have Thought' (the first teaser track he posted, which can also be heard here) It's so good that I need to stop listening to it when it got to the middle eight because the song just keeps building up I don't think I want to handle any more surprises, yet. It's so good I really want to wait for the album to arrive. And then I'll listen to this song, along with other songs, in full. It's so good that I know why Darren says this album is going to have an 'epic' sound. From what I've heard so far, the 2 tracks do sound quite epic.
This has to be the album of the year. And wait, it's a double-disc release! Albums of the year, perhaps? Teasers - what right word he's using. 3 months to go till the album hits stores!
Synopsis - Gwen with a rather natural look getting your attention while she's in bed and in a bath tub.
It's her 3rd single from The Sweet Escape and I say well done her on choosing this song! The previous 2 singles were way too annoying (and Akon IS to blame really) finally she's choosing something sensible. The video can't be more boring, but seriously I just can't stop listening to this song. Something to do with a chorus that's simply very very good.

See, videos can be interesting if you make an effort, and can certainly make a song sound more interesting that it should be. This song is actually quite good though.

There aren't really that many music videos that are fun to watch and that you can describe as 'delightful'. Maybe it's just me being totally bored but if you're bored like myself this will surely give you a smile on your face.
And this is for you, my friend. Time after time after time after time you've helped me through the shittiest times. Thank you, for always being there to listen. Thank you for always making me feel better. Where would I be without you.

Some other new music worth checking out: You can stream Mandy Moore's 3 new tracks - Extraordinary, Nothing That You Are and All Good Things on her official website now. All nicely done, I especially love Nothing That You Are and All Good Things.
You can now listen to 3 clips from Andrea Corr's new album 'Ten Feet High' on her bebo page. I'm sure nobody knows what a bebo is or why she is using that instead of myspace, but at least there are 3 song clips. I've heard Hello Boys in full - not too bad, sounds a bit like Goldfrapp, but not single material though. Shame On You sounds promising, but Anybody There just sounds bad. Hopefully there are better songs on the album than these 3.
Stream the ENTIRE Timbaland album on his myspace. It is a very good album I have to say. Although it's too obvious you can find a Sexyback-sound-alike, a Maneater-sound-alike, WhatGoesAround-sound-alike and a Lovestoned-sound-alike (translate - he's recyling his songs for Nelly and Justin for his own record), these 'remakes' aren't bad at all. In fact you'll find songs that are better than Sexyback, and I have to say as a whole I love this record more than Justin's.
